About the Southeastern Convocation of the Anglican Communion Network
The Anglican Communion Network is a gathering place
for Orthodox believers in the Anglican tradition. The Network
provides full connection to the worldwide Anglican Communion through the
overseas jurisdictions of the ICON (International Conference of the
Network). Born out of the crisis perpetrated by the heretical
actions of the American province and committed to the unchanging truth
and authority of God’s Word and to the propagation of the Gospel of
Jesus Christ, the Network is working to form a biblical, missionary, and
united Anglicanism in North America.
Exciting times are ahead for American Anglicanism. A new
federation known as the Common Cause Partnership has been formed as the
basis for the new American ecclesiastical structure called for by the
Global South Primates. The inauguration of this federation serves as the
next step toward the new orthodox Anglican Province in the USA, with
common mission and ministry focused on the lordship of Jesus Christ and
His saving good news. A Common Cause Theological Statement and
Structural Agreement are well on their way to being ratified by all ten
Orthodox Anglican entities.
The Southeastern Convocation provides support and care for parishes and
congregations throughout the Southeastern United States. Acts
14:22 summarizes the purpose of the Southeastern Convocation and the
experience of our churches: Paul and Barnabas visited the
churches, “Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain
true to the faith, saying, ‘We must go through many hardships to enter
the kingdom of God.’”
